I'm getting ready compile a 2.6.7 kernel for my new Debian Sarge installation.. and I'm trying to figure out which splash screen i need...

I've been looking at http://www.bootsplash.de/files/ but there are so many with 2.6.7 I don't know which to use.. anyone have an idea??

Those aren't splash screens. They are patches you'd need to update your kernel to allow for framebuffer support. You'll need framebuffer support on before you can use bootsplash pix. This was as far as I'd gotten as well because I didn't know which patch I'd need for 2.6.8.
