bootlog
I'm trying to fine tune Debian and the kernel is a big part of that. I finally got all the things I need running and configured but I do see some error messages during boot. I'd like to get rid of them but have too little time to write them down or even read them (boot is fast) I know there is something of a bootlog in which I can read what happends during boot (and track the errors) I just can't find it. Where is it located in Deb?

dmesg
or /var/log/kernel.0.log Don't know why they put it there. Must have been trying to hide it. |
