Blue and gray screen of death -Install issues

I'm using the x86_64 SARGE distribution netinst ISO, the third step in the install screen after selecting my location gives me a flat blue screen, a grey bar at the bottom, no text, no options. It *DOES* have a prompt, but I do not know ANY linux commands.

Has this happened to you before, if so what should I do? I verified that the ISO was uncorrupted using the MD5 number.

I'm leaving this window up on this cruddy monitor, please reply ASAP with anything remotely helpful. Before I get flamed with the search option posts, take into account that I have sensitive eyes and this particuler monitor on my backup computer is running at 33 HZ interlaced, because it's burning out.

Wolvenmoon, as Ankscorek says it would help you a lot if you post the specifications of your monitor and/or system.

Anyway, if you happen to face the CLI (command line interface) you should stick with the
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
thing.....hope you find your way....
