Here's what I got so far. I have installed the module rt1.ko and when I do a modprobe rt61 it works fine. Now for the problem When I try to issue the following command I get an error along the lines of invaild interface.

ifconfig up wlan0
or
ifconfig up ra0
Where do I go to tell Debian that my rt61 module is for my pcmcia wireless card.
