bash: recursively blow away directories that = '.svn'

so my noob self f***** my svn repo with 4 sites in it. Please don't make me explain how stupid I was

I copied all the sites down from the web server and I want to check them back into a new repository (i just upgraded to lenny). I'm trying to avoid hitting all the the sub directories and removing all the .svn directories manually . I'm a linux noob. Any help would be fantastic!

Code:
find /path -name ".svn" -type d -exec echo '{}' \;
Exactly as above, with the trailing semicolon. When satisifed with the results replace "echo" with "rm -rf".
