Backports .org release file expired?

I tried to install nvidia drivers & when I tried aptitude update it says that 'backports.debian .org' Release file has expired ignoring......

How long does it normally take to update?

The backports repo does not have a squeeze branch anymore, assuming you are on the system mentioned below.

Well since it's not availabe I looked at sources list here
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...913/page7.html
and noticed no one had backports listed. So took it out.

Backports have been official for a while now, so it's backports.debian.org not backports.org. You no longer need to to download and install the backports key - just remove the old one.

Code:
deb http://backports.debian.org/debian-backports squeeze-backports main

That's what I had it's expired.
But I did look at the other members sources list & they're not even using it.
