background picture in GRUB: How?

I was wondering how could somebody put a background picture in GRUB, like in SuSE. When you install SuSE, there is a nice GRUB and not like mr booter. Now I use Debian, and I ask you how is it possible to do such a thing, becouse I know its possible. But how? Thank you.
