ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 - proper resolution
 

I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 Laptop which has an ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 card. The highest possible resolution is 1280x800 (windows vista properly uses this). I'm running Debian unstable with XFCE4 and I seem to be getting a much lower resolution. I understand I might be in need of some binary drivers however I can't seem to point myself to the right direction via Google. Any details/help would be appreciated. The resolution is all I currently care about.

FIXED: I installed fglrx-driver and ran: aticonfig --initial && aticonfig -overlay-type=Xv.
