Rep:
ArtistX Installation?
Hi, I have tried ArtistX, it looks brilliant! So many features out of the box. Great for editing movies it seems.
But I had three problems. It starts with what seems to be a live DVD. There is no application to install it. It did not connect with the internet for email, or a google search.
And it showed an editing application on demand, that seemed to not open without flaws in the window.
It is based on Debian Sid, can run Compiz 0.7.7 .
So my question is, how do I install it, with net access and might experienced users advise me that I get a second download and burn the image again to make sure the applications work perfectly?
There are so many packages in the dvd...nothing wrong in using 3GB of space. Knoppix is ~4GB. There are live game dvds of similar size too (all games!)
