aptitude update freezes

Hi All,

During an aptitude update, aptitude freezes at 99% and then times out:

Get:5 http://security.debian.org lenny/updates/contrib Packages [14B]
Get:6 http://security.debian.org lenny/updates/non-free Packages [14B]
Hit http://www.backports.org etch-backports/contrib Packages/DiffIndex
Hit http://www.backports.org etch-backports/non-free Packages/DiffIndex
Hit http://www.backports.org etch-backports/contrib Packages
Err ftp://linorg.usp.br testing Release.gpg
Could not connect data socket, connection timed out
Get:7 ftp://linorg.usp.br testing/main Translation-en_US [14B]
99% [7 Translation-en_US 0/14B 0%]

I've never had this problem before. Maybe the repository is off line. Thoughts?

Thanks Much,

pb

ftp://linorg.usp.br isn't down, but it does require you to log in when connecting using the command line ftp program and displays an error when navigating to it in a browser. Removing it from the repository list would probably be the best thing to do until they allow anonymous login again.
