Out of curiosity, what are the behaviors you're experiencing?

In aptitude when doing the update and upgrade in SID
I get \some packages broken and unresolved dependancies.
WHen i revert to testing it works fine.

when i try install cups it wants to remove xfce almost completely

I both cases I had to revert to testing on my experimental box that I play with inorder to learn more.
