apt not getting updates

For the last week or so when I run an apt-get update & upgrade I don't see any updates available. Seems odd to me. My source list is below, did I miss something?

Code:
deb http://mirrors.kernel.org/debian/ etch main contrib non-free
deb-src http://mirrors.kernel.org/debian/ etch main contrib non-free

deb http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main contrib non-free
deb-src http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main contrib non-free

deb http://linux.csua.berkeley.edu/debian/ etch main
deb-src http://linux.csua.berkeley.edu/debian/ etch main

deb ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ etch main non-free contrib
deb-src ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ etch main non-free contrib

deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian/ etch main contrib non-free
deb-src http://http.us.debian.org/debian/ etch main contrib non-free

You're running debian stable there which mainly gets security updates only. So nothing odd happening afaict.

Thanks, I didn't realize etch had changed to stable. I'll update my sources.list.

Yep, nothing odd there. I'm also running Etch stable on several machines and am not getting a lot of updates.

Any reason for all the duplication in your sources list ?

These lines are all pretty much the same (the berkley repo doesn't have the contrib and non-free listed) just pointing to 4 different repositories that should all have the same info on them..

I put those in when I was having a lot of connection timeouts for the repos. Now that I've changed data centers and I have a much better connection I can probably remove those. Thanks for reminding me
