apt-get update from cd/dvd no internet
 

is it possible to update a system
with apt-get from a full cd/dvd set,
to a next version without a reinstall ?
but just using apt-get.
for instance if a have debian 6.0.0 qould I update to
6.0.5 or something
or from squeeze to wheezy
using only apt-get dist-upgrade
from cd/dvd,
without having to go through a complete reinstall ?

I suppose I have to add the new disk set to sources.list ?

Yes, that is possible, in the way you think, add the CD-set to the sources.list (apt-cdrom is a nice tool to make that easy), the follow the upgrade procedure.
