I recently decided to try something new and installed Debian. Everything works great but Im having some issues with errors when attempting to use apt-get. I have attached my source list below. The errors are usually different but one example is:
# apt-get -f install apt-howto-en
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
apt-howto-en: Depends: apt-howto-common but it is not going to be installed
libc6: Depends: tzdata but it is not going to be installed
libc6-i686: PreDepends: libc6 (= 2.3.6-0ubuntu20) but 2.3.6.ds1-4 is to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).
Ive read quite a few docs and will continue to try (see the package I was trying to install) but many dont seem to cover errors. If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.
