Annoying eth0-console messages..

I have installed debian on my compaq t20 which is a diskless thin client. I installed it to a usb drive by running the netsetup over the network. When i boot it the first time (and finish the setup), i keep getting the following messages being displayed which make it very hard to read the options and rather annoying!

img212.imageshack.us/img212/6346/rah1ev.jpg
(and talking of annoying, it is rather annoying i cant post this image...)

What it says is:
Code:

eth0: setting full-duplex based on negotiated link capability
eth0: DSPCFG accepted after 0 usec
eth0: setting full-duplex based on negotiated link capability
eth0: DSPCFG accepted after 0 usec
etc...

What have i done wrong?

hope someone can help!

Seems like some network log messages are being dumped to the console. A firewall log, perhaps? You can try "dmesg -n1" to see if that helps.

If it works, you can add that command to some init script. Most distros have rc.local where users can place their own commands and you can make a similar file also in Debian. See more detailed instructions here: http://www.plope.com/Members/chrism/...rc_local_equiv
