I installed Nvidia driver for linux on debian. i had read the full readme and configured so
removed GLcore and dri
added glx
my X starts but mouse is not properly seen it leaves tracess behind but not refreshing properly. what could be wrong. i am able to get a dispalay of 1280x1024 at 24bpp.
Had a similar problem, had to use the 3rd newest drivers, on nvidias forums they said it the tnt2 isn't compatible with the newest ones. Not sure about the 64 bit ones, but try a a few versions ago, some wouldn't even compile on mine, but the 3rd newest did and work great.
Ah lol, wasn't very clear :P I just mean try some of the drivers from nvidia's archive. The newest one didn't work for me, had to use an older one to get my tnt2 to work right, which was the 3rd latest driver release. Maybe 5332 or 6106 will work
