Alternative C++ Compiler, That's In The Repos

I have used GCC and flavors (llvm) for a long time. I have wanted to use A.C.K. but it doesn't build on 64-Bit systems. The tiny-c-compiler is only c. Intel does not provide Debian packages nor do I want to fill out an endless form. Digital Mars' C++ (not D) Compiler Is Not Good on Debian (or any Linux). OpenWatcom is outdated and only has trivial Linux support (nor a Debian package).
So is there a mildly good C++ compiler in the Debian repositories that isn't G++? Or am I going to have to shuffle through the masses of the Internet again?

Isn't clang just a front end for llvm which is based on GCC?

llvm isn't based on GCC, llvm just virtual machine. clang + llvm is full gcc replacement.
