alsa sound question
I just installed Knoppix 3.2 to the harddrive so ive wound up with a debian distro now. I have had some problems with the sound but I was able to get it to work after doing a modprobe command that I read on alsa's website. To get the sound to work i have to run /etc/init.d/alsa-autoconfig and it works perfectly. The problem is that if I reboot or log off I will have to run that command to get the sound working again. My question is what do i need to do to get that command to run at bootup so i dont have to run it everytime I log in. I assume you have to edit a file but im not sure what to do.
