Question All CDs?


Do I need all cds for Debian or can anyone tell me which ones I need to install Debian?

My honest opinion? Use the netinst cd if you have dsl/cable or faster and a nic that is supported by the installer, otherwise get dvd #1 or cd's 1-5 to build your base system, then upgrade the rest from the net using apt.

I downloaded 4 DVDs, and have used only the first one. If I were to do it again I'd get the 1st DVD and anything that's not on it from a mirror.
