adding Puppy to grub??

Ok..I tried to dual boot Debian and Puppy ..Used gpart on puppy cd to resize /dev/hda1 and did a frugal install to it..Puppy created a text file with info to add to grub..i copied it to debian home and rebooted and tried to add the info to grub so that i can boot into puppy..but had a problem getting it to work..I posted it on Puppy forum..rather than retype everything heres link to post..
I could not figure out how to add it to grub 2..Grub 2 seems to be different..Anyone know how to add Puppy to grub.or better yet..someone who did it..??
