access seperate home partition

Hi hows everyone doing? So a couple of weeks ago I downloaded a Debian 64 version(not sure which one, I used the net install), anyways I have not really used it that much, do to lack of time to get it set up. Well I decided that it runs faster than my Ubuntu partition, how ever I want to transfer all media files from Ubuntu to Debian with out have to copy them all to disk. So I was wondering how I would go about accessing my Ubuntu partition? I can transfer files that way can't I???

Add the Ubuntu partition to your /etc/fstab if it isn't already mounted. If it is mounted you could change the ownership if your UID is different.
