a deb for APULSE (working with Skype)?

Hello,

I would like to have Skype working because
of most friends are using Skype.. no other way.

pulseaudio is really a thing to avoid, and
I would like (LIKE GENTOO) to find a deb for the
Debian Wheezy.

Would you have any link?

thank you

Code:
deb http://ftp.at.debian.org/debian wheezy main contrib non-free

deb-src http://ftp.at.debian.org/debian wheezy main contrib non-free

#deb http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/ wheezy-backports main

Judging from the project's website it seems to be pretty easy to compile. You can compile it an use checkinstall to create a deb package afterwards.

I have currently no way/opportunity to compile.

Judging from this, I may ask it since it is an important problem for a lot of users.

We are about 2 in the world using Linux (incl. Debian)?

http://linuxcounter.net/
"
My guess at the number of Linux users:
75,097,567 World population: 7,279,456,651
Internet users: 2,945,002,663
"

I would be glad if one of the 7,279,456,651 users could run:
Code:
cmake or ./configure
make
checkinstall
and upload-it on a sharing platform.

Dude, no need to get bitter. You have three options: a) build it yourself, b) look for a 3rd party repo for Debian (I found one but since I don't generally like to use 3rd party stuff and I don't know whether it is reliable, I didn't post a link to it), or c) wait for someone to build it and send you the package (very unlikely).

Thank you. no worries.

I simply wonder why the Debian community is always so slow with apps over the boards.

If you compare, Ubuntu, Gentoo and Slack, there are so much help from users with one another.

Hi Guys,

I have now Skype 4.4.3.037 without pulseaudio and with apulse.

It fully works.

My mic is on hw:2,0
My playback on my hdmi card is : hw:0,9

I can now fully skype my parents. Thank you for none of Debian, but thank you Gentoo.

Thank you Debian too, of creating Debian, (but on Boards, there are really much much better)
