[SOLVED] 64 bit Lenny for intel

I could't find the 64bit Debian Lenny OS for Intel architecture.

Hence I have installed amd64 and it is working fine.

Does both intel and amd have the same 64 bit OS amd64 ?

As long as it is 64 Bits it works for both AMD and INTEL
Avery long time ago the instruction set of both processor where different so that you should about worried it .

AMD64, also known as x86_64, is the correct architecture for your average PC/laptop user with a 64-bit AMD or Intel processor.

Intel has another architecture, IA-64, which is not compatible with AMD64. IA-64 is used exclusively in Intel's Itanium line of server processors.
