2.6.16 and nvidia in etch

Why is there an nvidia 2.6.16 kernel but no linux-image for kernel 2.6.16 in etch? Seems pointless to have the nvidia without the image.

Of course there is a 2.6.15 image, but no nvidia-kernel to match!

Nvidia has been missing from Etch, so it's back now Kernel images for 2.6.16 apparently have RC bugs preventing them from migrating to testing. It will migrate at some point. Migration of packages is mostly asynchronous, unless the dependencies are circular.

You can however use the nvidia-kernel-source and compile a kernel module against your current kernel (e.g. 2.6.15). This works for me.
