I've tried the i386 and amd64 netinst cd's without any luck yet.
Does anyone know why I get the and timing out ?
My 3com 3C905C card gets picked up ok, its got me stuffed.

Do you have internet access?

Does "ping" work?

It maybe also DNS problem:

Add "nameserver XX.YY.ZZ.UU" line to your /etc/resolv.conf file
where XX.YY.ZZ.UU are the IP of DNS of your provider.
