[INFO ONLY] I have a copy of grub legacy in case you need it

hi

I have a copy of 32 bit grub legacy.

Recently, 16 August 2012 I noticed a "huge" drop in file size of the repo. ~400 kilos to 115 kilos

unpack shows the latest deb has lost the stage* files etc
and appears to be just the docs.

For those who need a full file its at

https://sourceforge.net/projects/rem...files/Sources/

the latest is visible here
http://ftp.iinet.net.au/debian/debian/pool/main/g/grub/

you can use xarchiver to unpack any file you might need

YMMV

as its not really a question I won't mark this post as solved and answered to remove from zero post list

thanks for understanding!

Hi,

maybe I'm missing something but you seem to be advertising that you have a copy of an old Debian package. Can this not be obtained from Debian snapshots?

hi

yes and no...giggles

what I did not say...but now I will is the version number at my second link did NOT change but its size did...version is 0.97-66

ok so lets look at older package from your site suggested

http://snapshot.debian.org/package/grub/0.97-65/

its size is 117882 or about 115 kb

and I am reporting a version higher than number with a higher package size

I shall not sleep worried tonight

Hi,

sorry, I still don't understand what you are getting at. You repackaged grub-legacy with some extra files? Or perhaps you are saying there is a bug in a recent grub-legacy package?
