where to start
I'm looking for a small linux distro that can be installed on an IDE Flash Module 256MB 40pin vertical for a linux terminal server project.
The size of DSL seems just like what I'm looking for. What iso version do I need? Any installation/setup advice? I'm quite familiar with mandrake and knoppix, but new to DSL. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks. |
Also check out FeatherLinux. It's designed for booting from flash media. :)

Slax supports this as well, and is should be easy with MySlax Creator.

DSL should work great for this. The most up to date version is dsl-1.4.iso. I would check out a frugal install. Here is a thread with some information regarding what frugal is:
