what the hell is DSL's root password ? (su)


its in the subject....
cant find it anywhere !
did i install wrong ?

in knoppix, you hit 'su'
and boot.. admin access, no password.

if i remember correctly in DSL you have to type :
sudo su

and then you will be root ... and once you get the privledges, you can use :
passwd

to change the root password to whatever you wish ...
so the next time you type :
su
you can use that password you changed it to ...

Just tupe 'sudo su' (without the ' ') and you will be root.
