Why not, try some live distro, which fits on USB stick. For example http://rescuecd.pld-linux.org/

Thanx for the reply.
How do I move iso file into a usb memory stick?
They have no explanations there. Can it be done with DSL too?

Firsly, I must warn you that I've never tryed it.

1) make your USB stick bootable
fdisk /dev/sda
set boot flag on
write it

2) invoke: syslinux /dev/sda

3) mount somewhere ISO image
mount -o loop rescue.iso /mnt/something

4) copy all files to USB stick

5) cd to your USB stick mount point

6) cd boot/isolinux
cp boot.msg help.msg initrd.ide vmlinuz memtest isolinux.cfg ../../

7)cd ../../
mv isolinux.cfg syslinux.cfg

that's all.
Does it work?
