I think I need expert help here, I want to load DSL onto an old toshiba libretto, no cd drive therefore I want to use an old 100 meg zip drive.
Any help on how to do this greatly appreciated.
How is the zip drive connected (internal, external, IDE, usb)? More important, does the laptop see it on boot and will the BIOS support booting off it?
If so, then just download the DSL live image following the USB directions and you will be set.
Sorry the zipdrive is not bootable it is a parallel port type. toshiba libretto's only have a pcmcia floppy for boot, I can use this to enable the zipdrive.
