scripted backup ?

When I run filetool.sh manually at the control prompt it does the backup and then waits for user input before it finishes as follows:
Quote:
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
Press enter to continue:
What does this mean?

I'd like to run it periodically as from a script?

Thanks,

Brian H.

That usually comes after some errors from tar that indicate exactly what problems took place. Are there any other messages?

Thanks for the tip. Yes there are 3. I will look into their causes.
