Re-burn ISO with configurations?

I love the fact that DSL runs so smoothly booting "toram". However, I would like to avoid having the need for a hard disk partition to save the "backup" file. (or floppy, or pen drive)

Is there any way to re-burn an ISO once I get DSL configured to meet my needs? I would live to have the necessary configurations (FTP, SAMBA) "saved back" to CD so that the bootable CD contains my personalized operating environment.

I assume that this is do-able. I just haven't found the information yet. Any pointers?

Thank you in advance!!!

A really good question.Yes, it can be done but you probably know that it requires some effort from your part. Here are some links (for Ubuntu) (Debian)
