multiboot dsl windows via grub
 
I have an old laptop with windows xp and want to install dsl and have grub as the boot loader. Does dsl support multiboot with grub?

this is grub legacy not grub2 good for xp and vista

dsl has grub and if you install it you can do a grub install it will read your drive most likely set up your windows for you.
it will be loacated /boot/grub/menu.lst
use the MBR for grub install this will then boot into a grub menu.
