more than 2 partitions

Is it possible to have more than a main partition and a swap partition when doing a HD install? I would like to have something like this:

/dev/hda1 /
/dev/hda2 swap
/dev/hda3 /home
/dev/hda5 /var
/dev/hda6 /tmp

I tried making different partitions but when I choose the HD install script, everything gets installed on the / partition.

As far as I know the script is limited to installing on one partition. You can always create another parition, but as far as I know it will not be used for installation, just if you wanted to store information on a seperate parition. If anyone knows otherwise I would be interested to know more.
