Lightweight database GUI: Has anybody tried GNOME-DB on DSL?

Further to my quest to find a lightweight GUI for semi-literate end-users to view and modify pretty simple databases without having to launch the entire OpenOffice suite, has anybody had any success compiling and running GNOME-DB in Damn Small Linux?

http://www.gnome-db.org/

From the web site, it looks like it might be the solution I've been searching for.

Thanks in advance for any reviews or advice y'all can offer.
