Is Dam Small Linux Dead

With great disappointment it would seem that DSL is pretty well dormant,
Tried joining their forum to no avail... zero response from their admin... although there seem to be several visitors on their site?

It is a great little distro ..... what about an update/revamp, last one in 2012!!!!

Cheers, Chris.

According to DistroWatch, it's not just dormant, it's discontinued (they define the difference there).

Might as well

Yes, Tiny Core Linux is the successor of Damn Small Linux.

There is a free book Into the Core that you can download to get an understanding of how it all works.

EDIT: Another small distro you might like is SliTaz - https://www.slitaz.org/en/

Other than those, you might like AntiX - https://antixlinux.com/

Besides TC, SliTaz, AntiX as successors to DSL, Puppy Linux is another, non-successor (independently-developed) but popular lower-ended distro - http://puppylinux.com/
Still very much in active development as seen at its DW page https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=puppy as well as last month's release announcement of Puppy "Slacko" 7.0 here and here.

LQ's Puppy Linux Forum is at https://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/puppy-71/

Puppy Linux
:)

Shame that it has such a bad choice of political alignment reputation.

Puppy or DSL, and what to what alignment do you refer?

Please explain.
