installing DSL-N
I've installed DSL-N before with no trouble but this time I am having difficulty. I have two HD: hda and hdb. I had Windows on hda and installed DSL-N on hdb. All looked good until I rebooted and it loaded Windows. What became of the boot loader? I deleted the partition on hda, created a linux partition and installed DSL-N on hda1. Again it seemd to install ok and I asked for a boot loader but on reboot I get 'operating system missing'. What am I doing wrong?

I've just realised that DSL-N is not maintained any more but no matter -- I found a way through. I re-installed and chose LILO instead of grub and I can now fire it up ok. It flags up a boot sector virus and I need to find out how to get rid of it but I'll search the DSL forum for that.
