How Do I Partition The Disk And Install DSL To Disk?

How does one partition the HD and install to Disk?

I used CD Rescue to format and partitioned the drive, and could not afterward find the partition with dsl.

Playing here, with just an old 3GB HD, before installing my new 80 GB HD.

We need more information. Could you boot into CD rescue and post the output from this command:

fdisk -l

Success.

I used the DSL options on start up to make a partition, then downloaded. Seems to be a slight fault.

I want to test my sound card with my music CD, which is option for media?
