DSL on SD-card

Have anyone tried to make a full install and boot from a SD-card?
I have tried it on USB but never on SD.

I bought a SD-card just for fun to see if it actually works.
First I need to partion SD-card. But of some reason cfdisk and fdisk doesnt recognize any partion of the computer or SD-card. It is totally blank.

I am sitting on a Acer Aspire one laptop with Linpuslite system.
