What do you mean by dos compatible? Can it be installed on a DOS partition? I'm not sure. What filesystem is used when you install it to a pen drive? If it uses FAT32, then you might be able to image the pendrive to the DOS partition.

Otherwise, I would look into grub for dos... http://freshmeat.net/projects/grub4d...ease_id=223539

If you mean: "Can I dual boot DS Linux and MS DOS with the boot loaders that DS Linux offers by default(GRUB and LiLo)", the answer is yes

PS: DOS is old crap that can't do much for you. It's much easier to install it first and letting Linux do the boot configuration.

Is Dos also on the flash disk? Did you install the boot loader to the MBR during the "frugal" install?

Did you follow the wiki on how to install Grub? http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/i...nstalling_Grub
