To see if produce anything first run an app called xev. If they produce keycodes make a note of them and which keys they are.

Now what do you wish to do wih them?

Which gui do you plan to work with them under?

I tried that command and gives me a lot of messages, including two lines with zeros !
What does that mean ?
I only want to use a word processor, as in other Linux distributions, like Suse, Fedora, Mandriva, and so on.
But I'm afraid it will not be possible usind Damn Small Linux ...

Which keys are this you are trying to get working for starts?
What output are you getting from each key press?
Which gui or window maker if any are you working with?
When you mean word processor which app are you running as a word processor?
