azerty keyboard on dsl
 

Can somebody help

Just burnt a cd with dsl on it and playing around.

Try to change from qwerty keyboard to azerty, but does not work.

I select the right keyboard, click ok, get a rapid command line, but keyboard remains qwerty.

Any help ?

did you restart X after making the change?

was not working under x.

command line is " loadkeys fr "

then startx ... and everything working fine

is there a possibility to change and to save it forever.

I have the same problem and the computer which I configure at the moment is for somebody who do not know anything about linux.
