DSL is one of the most actively maintained distros I have used.

John has gone from version 0.8 to 2.0 in less then 12 months.

I could build a DSL time line with the cds I have burned for this distro.

I completely agree. Thanks to all those who put so much work into this distro, it is growing in leaps and bounds. Every version continues to get better and more complete while staying under their 50mb limit.
