Hate it.......
I dont know about the rest of you but this new name really sucks. My next door neighbour asked me what Mandriva was. He thought it was a gay/lesbian thing.

Hi!
I also did not like the new name. However, I think you should need to refrain your gay/lesbian thing. It's just not funny and immature, besides the fact that some peoples may be offended by it.

Ha, That's a good one. I can see the corellation... I don't like it either. I don't think they were trying to go for a mocho theme just combine the two names. I surely think they could have come up with somthing better though. They really should have let their users determine...
Just a thought

First off mate that was what my NEIGHBOUR thought it was. I was just making a point on how the bad choice of name Mandrake went to. As far as immature and not funny, I wasn't laughing when he said that and its only immature because your mind must be American bred like the rest of them.
Oh and wanted to mention how do you know I am not gay/bi? What if I was? You think that I like my favourite distro being known as a gay/lesbian one?
Read the whole thing first before you want to impress everyone here with your post.

And I think that's a good place to stop the conversation. Next post should be on topic and relevant.

And now you offend the Americans too. What great attitude. I'm requesting this thread to be closed by the way.

I don't like mandriva either.
But there is not really a good way to combine mandrake and connectiva though either.
