The polls are closed and the results for the 2011 Members Choice Awards are in. We had a record number of votes cast for the eleventh straight year. Congratulations should go to each and every nominee. We once again had some extremely close races (including multiple single vote winners and our first ever tie). Visit for the official results. If you have any questions or suggestions on how we can improve the MCA's for next year, do let us know.

We're considering moving the LQ Job Marketplace to a new service and have launched that service into BETA to evaluate it. Visit and let us know what you think.

I'm happy to announce that we just uploaded a new version of the native Android LQ Mobile app to the marketplace. This version removes ads and should be more stable. We're hoping to release a native iOS app in the very near future. Visit for more information. Don't forget that LQ now has an Android-related sister site:
