I'm happy to announce that the LQ Radio Interview Series is back. We recently interviewed Ilan, conference chair, and Orv, public relations chair, from SCALE - the Southern California Area Linux Expo. We discuss a variety of topics including the history and future of SCALE, the challenges associated with running a large conference with all volunteers, Linux and Open Source related news and more. We have more interviews on the way. Visit to tune in and add to your favorite podcatcher.

Based on member requests, we are now taking user generated submissions for LQ Screenshots. Visit for instruction on submitting a new screenshot. Point your browser to see the latest Linux screenshots.

Have you visited the LQ forums recently? We now have over 2,708,000 posts made by 290,043 registered members. Despite our size, we're still as friendly and helpful as ever. If you haven't stopped in recently, do so now ( ) and see what you've been missing. If you're a member who regularly visits, don't forget to mention LQ when someone you know if looking for Linux help. Thanks!

Did you know you can save $3 off any domain name registration and help support Visit and use LQ3 as a discount code.
