$username,
I am happy to announce that we have re-released an all new version of LQ Bookmarks, a site for Social Bookmarking, tagging and annotating all things Linux and Open Source. Head over to
http://www.linuxquestions.org/bookmarks/ and visit the new site. The first thing you'll notice is that the new site uses your standard LQ username and password (in fact, if you're logged into LQ you're already logged into the new LQ Bookmarks site). The site also has an updated look, supports the del.icio.us API, has a nice tag cloud and much more. If you used the old site you can import your bookmarks to the new site with a single click. As always your feedback is welcome. We'll start redirecting tags from the old site to the new site one week from today, so make sure to import your bookmarks ASAP.
Due to increased demand in the Linux - Software forum, we have created Linux - Server and Linux - Desktop subforums to help categorize posts in a more logical way. Visit
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...splay.php?f=73 and
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...splay.php?f=74 respectively for the forums, or
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d.php?t=471309 to view the announcement.
The LQ Wiki continues to gain momentum and now has 2,785 articles. Did you know that you can help build the largest general purpose Linux knowledge base? Since it's a wiki, you can jump right in and edit any page. That means you can add content, fix grammar errors and update pages regardless of your technical expertise level.
http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/ is the place to take the plunge.
We've recently updated the LQ search page to integrate tagging and also add the ability to search more of LQ, including the tutorials, articles, HCL, Wiki and more.
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/search.php is now the place to search more of LinuxQuestions.org.
