Well, I started way back when on Mandrake 5.1, bought a boxset at Wal-Mart. I ended up "screwing" up the family computer, didn't know what I was doing. I downloaded RedHat 7.3 after that, didn't have it long, went back to windows. I yet again missed the linux scene and got RedHat 9, which I am now. I then tried Gentoo, couldn't even get it to boot, so I decided to go a little easier and got Slackware, installed it, then X windows kept giving errors, and when it wouldn't give errors, it would boot into a black and white dotted screen.
Anyways...
I am currently downloading CollegeLinux, I stalled on this because of the name mostly, and I don't know much about it except that it is based on slack, but I hear the install is a tid easier. Is this a good move, pro's

?
