Error Installing CL 2.5

I've posting this in their website but it always gives me the page cannot be displayed, then i close it and go back and its there the thread but I'm gonna keep having probs so I'll post it here.

CollegeLinux was the first distro I installed back in November 1st. 2004
Yes it was the first distro I ever tried or installed

Now Its been a month and I havent used it or nothing but I started reading and hearing things about it. Stuff that it has that Slackware doesnt really have even though its based.

"Slapt-Get" for example

The first I used CL I didnt stay with it because I couldn't get it online, and since I didnt know nothing about Linux, I didnt thought about Configuring the Network Card.

Now I'm trying to reinstall it, and I'm getting tons of errors, saying error installing etc etc . Abort, Retry, Continue after about 5-10 of them, I got tired and aborted. And am retrying installation again.
it happened again, so I'm gonna delete the iso, download 1 from linuxiso instead (where I dl the first time) and maybe even change my burning program on windows

Excuse me but there is a slapt-get for Slackware too... All you have to do is to install it!!! Besides, I find swaret works much better than slapt-get. Did you run checksum before you burned the iso image to a CD? Also, tell it to format your harddrive before it installs it.

I installed it fine after I read the manual I was just pressing Y to something I should of pressed N lol. But it was going too slow and stuff, Slackware never works (Xorg) problem and my i810 card, and most of other distros that use xorg seem not to work with my intel i810 card yes I know its crappy but thats what my Craperon(Celeron) 635mhz 256mb 20gb desktop has and thats the main pc I want to use linux with and learn because I want to keep my laptop "Amd Athlon XP-M 2800+ 768mb ddr 30gb ATI Radeon video as stable as possible until I get 3rd pc.

But anyways this is too much hassle
