Hmm, when I try http://collegelinux.org I now get a page saying that domain is parked free ...

Maybe they have forgotten to renew their domain licence? Try emailling the webmaster.

I thought College Linux was dead. When I tried installing it a while ago (2.5 I think), it didnt install lilo to the mbr which sucked so I had a command only version of grub there instead, so ive never ran it.

Works for me now. Maybe they shut down the servers for maintenance.

I've been trying to get to their web site for the past couple of weeks, and it finally appears that it's dead.

I've been patiently waiting for the new release, and haven't heard much of anything in months.

I'll turn this forum into a sort of archive mode. All threads (and the forum itself) will still be accessible by URL, but they will not show up in the forum list.
